Growth Performance and Sector Worker Productivity in Punjab and Haryana State Economy

Developed countries are generating employment to the population according to the GDP contribution which is a sign of equal income distribution. The two states, namely Punjab and Haryana, are generally known as developed states of India. The Punjab and Haryana states are generally famous as agriculture developed states where maximum GDP is generated through agriculture sector, but the issue is with the structure of the economy which have changed of both the states during 1980-81 to 2022-23. Punjab and Haryana are almost similar in terms of natural resources such as water availability, land quality, and in terms of economic growth. Agriculture, industry, and service sector which provides the scenarios of the state. The objective of the study is to analyze the comparative behaviors of both the states as a whole and the subsectors of the sector. Further, it focusses on finding the key areas which pushes the economy. Consequently, we focus on identifying the main sectors of the economy of these two states. The data set is from secondary sources that include the National Account Statistics and the Employment and Unemployment survey.

A corporation cannot exist without adequate working capital; it is the lifeblood of any business unit. It is essential to deciding both the performance and expansion of the business. The core of an industrial firm can be attributed to working capital. A bad working capital position prevents a business from growing or even surviving. According to a proverb, “Excessive working capital is a criminal waste, while inadequate working capital is a disaster.” Thus, in order to thrive in this cutthroat environment, any corporate organization needs to preserve its working capital. Thus, the current study used ratio analysis to learn about a company’s working capital management.

Climate change is a burning issue in the present scenario. GHG emission is considered as a major cause for global warming which leads to change in climate pattern of the earth. In the present world, emission is considered as hindrance for environment as well as economic growth. On the other hand emission can be converted as a commodity to earn income in the world market. The article presents the brief review of the studies that reveals the condition of global emission and working of the carbon credit market in reducing global emission. The paper discusses the influence of emission on environment and economy and impact of carbon credit market to reduce those emissions and improve the economic condition through capital inflow especially to the developing countries of the world.

Analyzing the Dynamics of the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) in India

In April 2015, the Indian government established the ambitious Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency (MUDRA) Scheme. This research paper critically evaluates it. The MUDRA Scheme is crucial to the nation’s economy since it promotes micro-enterprises and financial inclusion. The study examines trends, patterns, and scheme performance using economic theories, empirical data, and policy analysis. The framework, goals, and implementation of the MUDRA Scheme are examined. The study uses reliable secondary data from India Stat, government websites, and scholarly journals. The MUDRA Scheme had a major impact on Shishu, Kishore, and Tarun. Uttar Pradesh continuously leads loan accounts, while Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra lead sanctioned and disbursed sums. Economic activities vary by region, with southern states participating more. It also examines the scheme’s training and employment results, showing success in Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu. Politicians, economists, and stakeholders can learn about the MUDRA Scheme’s strengths and weaknesses from the research. This research seeks to optimize and improve the MUDRA Scheme to better achieve national economic goals by examining its intricacies and influence on India’s economy.

India has been an axis of various craft activities and a wide range of hand-crafted products are fabricated through these craft processes. The essence of the Indian Handicrafts lies in the distinctive and rich cultures and traditions of our motherland. The industry of Indian Handicrafts provide s sustenance to an astoundingly large proportion of Indian population. However, this creative path has always been a track full of thorns for these people and the industry. This review paper is an attempt to study the body and understand the soul of the vast handicrafts industry of India and understand the concerns hampering its growth to the fullest.
